Editor's note:  Darren took a few minutes out of his family vacation in Italy to send us some thoughts post LeMans.

By Darren Law

(RacingWire) - Le Mans was such a great experience this year. It was my third time there and we were very well-prepared. We went into the race very confident. As I wrote earlier, it is such a long week. There are so many events surrounding the race, from scrutineering to autograph sessions to the drivers parade. Then, of course, we have the practice and qualifying sessions which all run until midnight, so it is a very tiring week. It is almost relaxing to finally get to the race start!

The 2010 Petit LeMans podium.

BRASELTON, Ga. - Peugeot won Petit Le Mans powered by MAZDA 2 on Saturday, this time running the full 1,000 miles. A year after the French manufacturer won a rain-shortened race at Road Atlanta, the trio of Franck Montagny, Stephane Sarrazin and Pedro Lamy scored a 61-second victory in their diesel-powered Peugeot 908 HDi. They led a second straight 1-2 finish for the 908s in the cornerstone event for the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón.
