Editor's note: Darren took a few minutes out of his family vacation in Italy to send us some thoughts post LeMans.

(RacingWire) - Le Mans was such a great experience this year. It was my third time there and we were very well-prepared. We went into the race very confident. As I wrote earlier, it is such a long week. There are so many events surrounding the race, from scrutineering to autograph sessions to the drivers parade. Then, of course, we have the practice and qualifying sessions which all run until midnight, so it is a very tiring week. It is almost relaxing to finally get to the race start!
We had a really great race going; we were never out of contention. The crew worked well, pitstops went perfect, the strategy was exactly as we intended and none of us as drivers put a scratch on the car. We led all through the night and into the morning, but with approximately six hours left, the engine let go and our race was done. I am really disappointed because we had such a great chance at winning our class. Now I have a week off to spend time with my family and then I head to Road America for the Grand-Am event.

LEMANS, France (RacingWire) - We are ready to race. It's been a good week. We are qualified third in class, one-tenth off of second place – and we didn't run in qualifying trim. The car feels good and we feel confident in our chances today.
Race week is a very long week in Le Mans. There are so many media and other commitments, I am glad race day is finally here!
