(RacingWire) - Rubens Barrichello and Nico Hulkenberg will drive for AT&T Williams in 2010. The move puts Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima out of a job for the 2010 season.
Barrichello, the most experienced driver in Formula One, finished third in the 2009 Driver's Chamionship behind Brawn GP teammate Jensen Button and Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel.
Hulkenberg won the GP2 title this year in his rookie season. He has also won the F3 Euroseires, Formula Masters, A1GP, and Formula BMW Germany.
Frank Williams said on the teams website "Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima remain our drivers until the end of 2009 and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their contribution to the team. Nico and Kazuki have represented AT&T Williams and our partners with dedication, discipline and skill and we wish them every success with their future endeavours."
Ross Brawn had nothing but praise for his former driver. "We are very pleased for Rubens that he will be driving in Formula One once again next year," said Brawn. "Rubens was with our team for four years and we regard him as a highly experienced and talented driver whose contribution to the team over that period was significant.
Barrichello was instrumental in Brawn GP's 2009 Constructor's Championship. The Brazillian driver won twice, at Monza and Valencia and scored several podium finishes in 2009.
