(RacingWire) - Brazilian Lucas Di Grassi says there will be an announcement this week about his 2010 Formula One plans.

"For all who are wondering, I'll be in F1 in 2010. The details will be announced next week. Stay tuned. Thank you very much," Di Grassi wrote on his Twitter page.

It has been widely speculated Di Grassi was in line for the second seat at Virgin/Manor alongside Timo Glock.  

Virgin F1 is expected to announce the team's 2010 plans at a news conference scheduled for Tuesday.

Di Grassi has spent the last two seasons as Renault F1's test driver.  He has also finished in the top three in GP2 each of the last three years.
