(RacingWire) – Jeffrey Earnhardt will be part of a team featuring all NASCAR drivers to compete in the 2011 Rolex 24 at Daytona. Earnhardt will team with Stanton Barrett, Kevin O'Connell and three other yet-to-be named NASCAR drivers in a Rick Ware Racing Porsche GT3.

The car will carry Fuel Doctor sponsorship and the team plans to field at least one entry for the entire 2011 Grand-Am Rolex Series season.

The Fuel Doctor clad car is on display at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week.

“For Rick it's going back to his roots,” said Dave Mitchell, Vice President of Rick Ware Racing. “He raced in the SCCA in the 80's and he's excited to be getting back into it (road racing).

Rick Ware Racing is also hoping to finalize a second car for the Rolex 24. If that deal comes together the car will be piloted by drivers with Grand-Am backgrounds.

RacingWire's Scott Curbow contributed to this story.
