 MILLVILLE, N.J. (Grand-Am PR) - Andy Pilgrim, of Boca Raton, Fla., led from pole to checker to capture his eighth-career SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT Championship win Saturday at New Jersey Motorsport Park’s Thunderbolt Raceway. Randy Pobst, of Gainesville, Ga., completed a K-Pax Racing Volvo sweep, with Brandon Davis, of Huntington Beach, Calif., finishing third.

 (RacingWire) – Jason Saini held off a late race charge from Peter Cunningham and Andrew Aquilante to post his second win the Speed World Challenge Touring Car opener at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Saini started third in his #74 Mazdaspeed/Stoptech/Racinghart Mazda 6 and took the lead on lap three from front row starter Cunningham.

 MILLVILLE, N.J. (SCCA Pro PR) – Andy Pilgrim, of Boca Raton, Fla., captured his fourth-career SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT pole Friday with a lap he proclaimed “perfect” in preparation for Saturday’s Round Three race at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Teammate Randy Pobst, of Gainesville, Ga., will start second.

 MILLVILLE, N.J. (SCCA Pro PR) – Canadian Kuno Wittmer won the pole for Saturday’s SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge Touring Car Round Three race at New Jersey Motorsports Park’s Thunderbolt Raceway. However, after a post-qualifying coin flip, the top-five qualifiers were inverted. This means Wittmer will start fifth, while his teammate and fifth-place qualifier Peter Cunningham, of Milwaukee, Wis., will start first.

LONG BEACH, Calif. (April 19, 2009) – James Sofronas, of nearby Newport Beach, Calif., took a popular hometown win Sunday at the World Challenge ACS Grand Prix of Long Beach Presented by Lala Motorsports, Round Two of the 2009 SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT Championship. Eric Curran, of Easthampton, Mass., and Brandon Davis, of Huntington Beach, Calif., completed the podium.
