(RacingWire) - Dario Franchitti won the Mid-Ohio 200 Izod Indy Car series race completing a great weekend for Ganassi Racing.
Chip Ganassi's teams also won the Sprint Cup and Grand-Am Rolex Series races at Watkins Glen.
The win is Franchitti's first since the Indianapolis 500 and brings him within 41 points of Will Power in the championship standings.
The Scotsman had a large lead following the last round of green flag pit stops but that lead was quickly erased by back-to-back full course cautions.
Will Power hounded Franchitti during the closing laps but wasn't able to make the pass.
Helio Castroneves, Alex Tagliani, and Scott Dixon rounded out the top five.
