BRASELTON, Ga. - Eric Cruz went for a wild ride during the SCCA Pro Formula Enterprises race at Road Atlanta on April 10th.  The incident happened on lap 15 of the 20 lap sprint race. 

The following is Cruz's recounting of the incident in his own words.

"Once again my Formula E takes flight," said Cruz. "I'm getting a little tired of this! Going into turn seven near the end of the Saturday Pro FE race at the SCCA Enterprises 25th Anniversary weekend."

"I once again get another car sticking their left front wheel in front of my right rear. The video looks very similar to the one from Virginia Intermational Raceway from less than a year ago!"

"(I) rolled four times again, in slo-mo it's clear that the camera goes in the dirt and gets ripped loose at 3-1/2 rolls, then the video goes goofy until the camera comes to rest to capture the final insult of one of my wheels rolling to the wall."

"Corner worker Jeff Banker comes to get me out and over the wall to safety where another corner worker questions me to see just how stupid I really am!"

"The EMTs took me to medical where it was determined in technical terms that I got my bell rung 'pretty good.'  They scored me a 10 for style and a 7 for altitude."

"(I'm) feeling no after effects the day after sitting here in the Road Atlanta paddock. (We) will miss VIR next weekend, but we will get it back on track soon to prove just how stupid I really am!"
