Fontana, Calif. (Auto Club Speedway PR) – Day two of the AMA Pro Road Racing Series—the Suzuki AMA Pro Superbike Challenge at Auto Club Speedway proved to be history in the making.  Mat Mladin rode his No. 7 Rockstar/Makita Yoshimura Suzuki GSX- R1000 across the finish line winning his seventh AMA Pro American Superbike race at Auto Club Speedway, a new track record for most wins at ACS.

From the pole position, Mladin led 9 laps, posting a winning time of 40:03.080, just 0.070 seconds in front of teammate Tommy Hayden (No. 22 Rockstar/Makita Yoshimura Suzuki GSX- R1000).   Geoff May (No. 54 National Guard Jordan Suzuki GSX-R1000) finished third with a time of 13.545 seconds behind the leader.

After qualifying second, Danny Eslick (No. 9 Bruce Rossmeyer's Daytona Racing/RMR Buell 1125R) took Buell to its first major motorcycle victory after winning Race 1 of the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike.  Eslick finished the 2.36-mile road course in 31:11.090.  Jamie Hacking finished second on his No. 88 Monster Energy/Attack Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, just 2.510 seconds behind Eslick.  Martin Cardenas (No. 36 M4 Suzuki GSX-R600) finished with third 2.795 seconds behind the leader.
