(RacingWire) - Brad Keselowski broke his left ankle on Wednesday but that didn't stop him from coming to Pocono and winning his second Sprint Cup race of 2011.
Keselowski (Penske Racing) held off a charging Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) in the closing laps to win the race.
The race was delayed for 1 hour and 40 minutes by rain.
Joey Logano was leading when the rain came and despite his best rain dance the precipitation stopped shortly after it started and track drying began.
Anticipating the rain Keselowski stopped for fuel and tires just before the delay setting him up for the last 75 laps if the race went back to green.
The strategey paid off and Keselowski went to victory lane.
Kyle Busch finished second.
Kyle's brother Kurt Busch (Penske) finished third. Kurt and defending Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports) exchanged paint several times on the final lap and then the two exchanged words in the pits following the race.
Johnson finished fourth.
Ryan Newman (Stewart-Haas Racing, Jeff Gordon (Hendrick), Carl Edwards (Roush-Fenway Racing), Greg Biffle (Roush-Fenway), Dale Earnhardt Jr. (Hendrick), and Paul Menard (Richard Childress Racing) rounded out the top ten.
